Rolwaling Trek

                                  In 1951 , the famous British mountainer , Eric Shipton photographed the footprints of "Yeti" on the slope of Rolwaling Peak. Legends from tales says this mountain was the homeland to Yeti ( the abominable snowman) which is still belived. Due to its location , local states the Rolwaling Valley as "the grave" which is situated in between to steep ice-giants while the region is bounded by Everest rang and Langtang rang.
                                  Rolwaling trek is considered one of the most difficult trekking in Nepal and less trekked considering other peaks while only few have successed to reach the peak. The trekking starts from Dolakha , near Charikot, an eight hours drive from Kathmandu following several Sherpa's villages , Tashi Nam, Simigau and Beding. 
                                  Rolwaling Himal/Rolwaling Village which is also known as a Gaurishankhar includes Melungtse (7,181 m) and Melung II (7023 m) inside the Tibet and Gaurishankar (7,134 m) on Nepal border with other 50 additional peaks over 6000 m , that extends from the Nangpa La Pass where the Mahalangur section begins , southwest to the Tamakosi River. This valley is abundant with alpine lakes , hanging glaciers, high pastures, waterfalls , and captivating views of snowy peaks in the scenery will never make your journey exhausting but truly adventurous.
