Everest Base Camp With Island Peak is the perfect destination for gasping panaromic view of worlds highest moutain Mt. Everest (8,848m) along with Mt. Lhotse (8,516m), Mt. Makalu (8,201 m) , Mt. Nuptse ( 7,861 m), and many more. Everest Base Camp lies in the heart of Khumbu region , including Sagarmatha National Park. The mountain is viewed as an island in a sea of ice which is in the middle of Chhukung valley , thus gaining ''Island Peak'' as its name.

Island Peak is highly glaciated and extremly dangerous but the help of experienced Sherpa and magnificent surrounding is something we are able achive our dream to reach the top.

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu(1300m).Pickup and transfer to hotel by our company staff. Overnight in hotel with BB plan.

Our company staffs will be there anytime you arrive Kathmandu to welcome you and take you to the designated hotel. There will be small briefing about the trip in the evening with welcome dinner. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2:Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.

On this second day , we will take you to the Kathmandu tour where you will explore and learn the four UNESCO World heritage within the city which are the holy Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath stupa, Bauddhanath stupa and Kathmandu Durbar square. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (30 mins). Trek to Monjo (2,835m.) (4/5 hrs). Overnight stay at lodge.

On this day we will start our journey as we fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and from here we have few hours of trekking to the Monjo (2,835 m).

Day 04:Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) (4/5 hrs). Overnight stay at lodge.

We will pass through the pine forest along Dudh Koshi river till we reach Namche Bazaar (3,440 m).

Day 05: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar.

This day is scheduled as acclimatization. On this day we we take good rest and prepare for the next day climbing. As staying ideal is not recommended , we still explore the near village and museum which carry's Everest history and introduce the local flora and fauna. Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 06:Trek to Khumjung (3,730 m) (2/3 hrs). Overnight stay at tea house.

We leave Namche bazaar and walk to Khamjung (3,730 m).

Day 07: Trek to Phorts (3,810 m) (4/5 hrs). Overnight stay at tea house.

We head to Phorts (3,810 m) .

Day 08: Trek to Pheriche (4,240 m) (4/5 hrs).Overnight stay at tea house.

From Phorts , we ascend to Pheriche (4,240 m) with the village on the riverside.

Day 09: Trek to Lobuche (4910m.) (4/5 hrs). Overnight stay at Labuche.

As we climb up , the land here is much dryer then before. We continues to the place called Lobuche (4,910 m).

Day 10: Trek to Gorak-Shep (5,140m.) . Visit Everest Base camp (5,364m.). Then back to Gorak-Shep (6/7 hrs).Overnight stay at Gorak-Shep.

From Labuche we pass through rocky ridge and hills to the Everest Base camp. We can view Nuptse , Khambutse , Pumori and few other mountains from the camp. We walk to Gorak-Shep (5,140 m) as we return.

Day 11:Early morning hike to Kala Patthar (5,550m.) .Then trek back to Dingboche (4,410m.) (7/8 hrs).

After the breakfast we hike to Kala Patthar (5,550 m) early morning. Kala Patthar is popular among the Everest peak Climbers. From here the close view of Everest is seen. Later we will return back to Gorak-Shep. Overnight stay at Gorak-Shep.

Day 12:Trek to Chhuhung (47,30m.) (3/4 hrs).Overnight stay at Camp.

We continue our trekking to Chhuhung (4,730 m).

Day 13:Trek to Island Peak Base Camp/ High Camp (5,600m.) (3/4 hrs). Overnight stay at Camp.

We follow the steep trail to the Island Peak Base Camp.

Day 14: Reserve Day in case of bad weather.

This day is our Reserve day in case the weather is bad or gets worse. We take rest and prepare for next day today. Overnight stay at camp.

Day 15: Summit Island Peak (6,189m.) .Then back to Chhukhung (4,730m.) (9/10 hrs).Overnight stay at Camp.

Since its the summit day , we will head uphill and climb snowy and icy rocks and narrow trail to the Island Peak Summit (6,189 m). As we reach there , we will enjoy the view from the summit and take few picture . We will return back to Chhukhung where we will continue celebrating our summit success.

Day 16:Trek Back to Tengbuche (3,860m.) (5/6 hrs). Overnight stay at tea house.

We will keep descending back to Tengbuche (3,860 m) .

Day 17: Trek to Namche Bazar (3.440m.) (4/5 hrs). Overnight stay at lodge.

Its easier to walk as we have to only trek down to the lower attitude. We will go back to Namche Bazaar.

Day 18:Trek to Lukla (2,840m.) (6/7 hrs). Overnight stay at tea house.

From Namche Bazaar we will follow the same trail to the Lukla (2,840 m).

Day 19:Fly to Kathmandu (35 mins). Overnight stay at Hotel.

We will get the plane at the lukla where we will fly back directly to Kathmandu.

Day 20:Departure from Kathmandu towards your own destination.

This will be the last day of your trip , as we will depart from here . Our Ashaki Treks team will drop you off the airport before 2-3 hours of flight hoping you had the exciting and satisfying journey here. From here you may go to your desired destination.

Airport pickup and drop in a private vehicle.
