Lower Dolpa Trek is also called rain shadow trekking in Nepal.It was also known as 'hidden treasure of Nepal'.We can get opportunity to see the beautiful blue colored Shey Phoksundo Lake  which is surrounded by valley of green pine forest.Upper Dolpa Trek lets you explore through remote areas and peek into the livelihood of the people living in that isolated world.This region is fully occupied with natural resources.Dolpa is rich in forest  which is the home for  rare animals like snow leopard,blue sheep,mountain musk deer and more. It is located in Shey Phoksundo National Park which is the biggest national park of Nepal.During trek to Upper Dolpa, you go through some of the highest settlements of the world where people live even above 4000 meters. You can observe their amazing Tibetan-influenced Buddhist culture and tradition.
