Nirikha Peak (6,159 m) situated in himalayan range of Khambu region is newly opened destination for climbers thus, being less flush , this peak can be a optional expidition to experience different views for mountain climbers. From Lukla , as we trek from Khumbu region , as we cross Cho La Pass , the base camp of Nirekha Peak is reached. From th summit of Nirekha Peak , anybody is impressed by the view of Everest , Lhotse , Nuptse , Ama Dablam, Tawache, Cholatse, Pumori, Changri and other Himalayas. As we advance up Gokyo Ri, we trek alongside the Ngozumpa glacier , the longest glacier in Nepal. Gokyo Lakes are also the world's highest freshwater lakes. This climbing requires ice-axe, crampons with some fixed rope sections which makes this adventure more exciting.

Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu(1300m).Pickup and transfer to hotel by our company staff. Overnight in hotel with BB plan.

Our company staffs will be there anytime you arrive Kathmandu to welcome you and take you to the designated hotel. There will be small briefing about the trip in the evening with welcome dinner. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.

On this second day , we will take you to the Kathmandu tour where you will explore and learn the four UNESCO World heritage within the city which are the holy Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath stupa, Bauddhanath stupa and Kathmandu Durbar square. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla early morning (2840m) (30 mins). Trek to Monjo (2,835m.) (4/5 hrs).Overnight stay at tea house.

We will start our journey from here as we fly early from Tribhuvan airport to Lukla which is about 30 mins of flight. From here we will start out trekking to Monjo (2,835 m) taking 4/5 hrs to reach there.

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m ) (6/7 hrs).Overnight stay at tea house.

We will trek to Namche Bazzar (3,440 m) which is also gateway to Everest region . It takes about 6/7 hrs of walking day.

Day 5: Rest day in the same place for acclimatization.

This day is exceptional day for taking full rest. We will also have briefing about the next destination and weather information as its day of acclimatization . We will also explore near museum and view the himalayan and mountain around. Overnight stay at tea house.

Day 6: Trek to Thame (3,800m. ) (6 hrs). Overnight stay at tea house.

We will trek to Thame (3,800 m) for 6 hrs as we reach there .

Day 7: Trek to Lunding (4380m. ) (5 hrs).Overnight stay at Camp.

From Thame we will advance to Lunding (4,380 m) trekking for 5 hours.

Day 8: Trek via Renjo-La Pass (5,360m.) to Gyoko (4,790m.) (7/8 hrs).Overnight stay at Camp.

We will leave early Lunding and crossing through Renjo-La Pass (5,360 m) exploring beautiful Everest and other Himalayas around the village, we reach to Gyoko (4,790 m) after the long trekking of 7/8 hours .

Day 9: Rest day at Gokyo. Explore Gokyo Ri or fifth lake.

At this point we will take is as a rest day as we will not advance our journey but we will explore the near Gokyo lake of fourth and fifth. Overnight stay at tent Camp.

Day 10: Trek to Thangnak (4,700m) (3/4 hrs). Overnight stay at camp.

We will leave from Gokyo and ascend to Thangnak (4,700 m) treking for 3/4 hrs of short day time .

Day 11: Trek to Nirekha Base Camp (5200m approx) (3/4 hrs).Overnight stay at camp.

From Thangnak we will move to Nirekha Base camp (5,200 m approx) with minimum walking distance of 3/4 hours.

Day 12: Trek to Nirekha High Camp (5656m) (3/4 hrs). Overnight stay at camp.

As our destination come closer and we climb higher for 3/4 hrs to reach Nirekha High Camp.

Day 13: Reserve day in case of bad weather.

Before we reach our destination we have this day as reserve day in case of bad weather so that we reach our destination smoothly. Overnight stay at camp.

Day 14: Summit Nirikha Peak (6159m) .Then return back to Nirekha Base Camp (9/10 hrs).Overnight stay at camp.

Its time we reach our final destination Summit Nirikha Peak (6,159 m) of our long tour. As we reach the summit we are overjoyed with our success and views of Everest and other himalayas and glacier lakes. After some moments at the summit we will return back to Nirekha Base Camp with tiresome day of 9/10 hrs of journey.

Day 15: Trek via Chola Pass (5368m) to Lobuche (4910m) .Overnight stay at tea house.

We will pass through the beautiful Himalaya and villages through Chola Pass (5,368 m) to Lobuche .

Day 16: Trek to Gorakshep. (5140m) (3/4 hrs). Hike to Everest Base Camp (5354m). Then return back to Gorakshep (4/5 hrs).Overnight stay at tea house.

On this day we will trek about 3/4 hrs and reach Gorakshep , here we will take break , have our lunch and as we finish after little rest we will hike to Everest Base Camp (5,354 m) which highest summit in Himalaya . We will explore the view of surrounding mountains and rocky hills. Soon we will return back to Gorakshep taking 4/5 hrs of our time .

Day 17: Wake up early in the morning .Trek to Kalapathhar Viewpoint (5550m) and return back to Gorakshep . Trek down to Pangboche (3930m) (9/10 hrs).Overnight stay at tea house.

We need to wake up early this day in the morning and after our breakfast we head to famous Kalapathhar Viewpoint ( 5,550 m) . You can see the close view of Everest from here . This point is also popular among the base camp trekker who wants glance of Everest peak. After that we will return back to Gorakshep , have our breakfast here and after some rest we trek down to Pangboche (3,930 m) after whole day of walking for 9/10 hrs.

Day 18: Trek down to Namche Bazar (6/7 hrs).Overnight stay at tea house.

Following downhill we will trek down back to Namche Bazaar which cost us about 6/7 hrs of walking distance.

Day 19: Trek to Lukla (7/8 hrs).Overnight stay at tea house.

From Namche Bazaar we come at Lukla within 7/8 hrs of trekking.

Day 20: Fly back to Kathmandu.Overnight stay at hotel.

We will fly by plane from Lukla back to Kathmandu .

Day 21: Departure from Kathmandu towards your own destination.

This will be the last day of your trip , as we will depart from here . Our Ashaki Treks team will drop you off the airport before 2-3 hours of flight hoping you had the exciting and satisfying journey here. From here you may go to your desired destination.
