Tilicho Peak is one of the technically difficult mountain climbing in Nepal Himalaya. It is situated in the Annapurna region of Manang at the north with an elevation of 7,134 m. In 1950 , the members of French Annapurna expedition led by Maurice Herzog who were attemting to find Annapurna I , discovered this peak for the first time. The French climber Emanuel Schmutz , first climbed the peak in 1978 , using the northwest shoulder.
